Getting Started
To use the Search Expander, you must have the Helium 10 Chrome Extension installed and activated. To use the Search Expander, simply begin typing in the product search field.
Search Expander Columns
The search expander will display keywords and search volume based on the keywords you are typing. The four columns are:
- Amazon Suggestions - This column displays the Amazon recommended search terms based on what you’ve typed so far. You can click the up/down arrows to sort in descending or ascending order. Hovering over the data will display a graph icon. Clicking on the graph icon will display a graph with an adjustable time frame.
- Keywords After - This column displays the keywords commonly used after the entered phrase. It also shows the search volume and the direction the phrase is trending.
- Keywords Before - This column displays the keywords commonly used before the entered phrase. It also shows the search volume and the direction the searched phrase is trending.
- Smart Complete - This column displays Helium 10’s recommended keywords based on the entered phrase. It also shows the search volume and the direction the searched phrase is trending.
Hovering over keywords will display the following metrics at the bottom of the window:
How to Disable the Search Expander
If you want to turn off the Search Expander, click on the Helium 10 Chrome Extension icon, click on the settings icon, and then toggle Display extended search information on the search page to off.
