Token connections control how Helium 10 securely accesses your Amazon Seller Central, Walmart, and TikTok account data. Managing tokens correctly is essential, as disconnecting or changing a token can permanently remove historical data and impact tool functionality.
This article answers common questions about token connections, data handling, and subscription-based token limits.
Token & Data Management
Can I connect my Amazon, Walmart, or TikTok account to multiple Helium 10 accounts?
- Currently, Amazon, Walmart, and TikTok accounts can only be connected to one Helium 10 account at a time. This restriction is in place to comply with the platform's API security and data access requirements.
What happens when I disconnect my token?
- Helium 10 tools that rely on your Amazon, Walmart, or TikTok token require an active connection to function. Once a token is disconnected:
• Data synchronization immediately stops
• Token-dependent tools will no longer display data
• Historical data tied to that token is removed
Can deleted data be restored after a token is disconnected?
- Historical data is generated and maintained through an active, continuous token connection. When a token is disconnected, the historical data associated with it is permanently removed from Helium 10 and cannot be restored, even if the same token is reconnected later.
Can I transfer data to another Helium 10 account?
- Data transfer between Helium 10 accounts is not supported. Token-based tools rely on a continuous connection between a platform account and a single Helium 10 account to maintain the integrity of historical data. Transferring data would break this continuity, which is why migration between accounts isn’t available.
How long does it take for a token to disconnect?
- Disconnecting a token from the Connections page in Helium 10 takes effect immediately and is the recommended method.
If disconnected directly from Seller Central, the process may take several hours and up to 24 hours to fully complete. If the token remains connected after 24 hours, please contact Helium 10 Support via live chat or email.
Plans and Token Limitations
What happens if I downgrade my Helium 10 subscription with multiple tokens connected?
- The number of tokens you can connect depends on your subscription plan. Higher-tier plans allow more connected tokens.
If you downgrade to the Free plan:
• Your allowed token limit will be reduced
• You will be prompted to select which token to disconnect
• A warning will appear about potential data loss
If you proceed without manually disconnecting a token, Helium 10 will automatically disable excess tokens, starting with the most recently connected account. Automatically disabled tokens stop syncing new data. Historical data associated with those tokens remains unchanged unless the token is manually disconnected, which may result in data removal. This automatic enforcement currently applies to Amazon and TikTok accounts.
Here’s a breakdown of the number of tokens allowed per subscription:
• Free – 2 Tokens
• Platinum – 2 Tokens
• Diamond – 10 Tokens
