Helium 10 Ads makes it easy to monitor and manage your total advertising spend across all connected Amazon seller accounts. The Settings page provides a centralized view of your managed ad spend, billing periods, and spending trends.
Accessing Ad Spend Management
- Log in to your Helium 10 account
- Click on Helium 10 Ads in the main navigation
- Select the Settings tab
This section allows you to:
- Review your total managed ad spend for a selected billing period
- Monitor spending trends across days
- View and manage individual ad profiles
- Set management levels for each connected account
Understanding Your Settings Dashboard
Total Managed Ad Spend
At the top of the Settings page, you'll see your Total Managed Ad Spend displayed prominently. This shows the sum of all advertising costs across all connected Amazon accounts for your selected billing period.
Example: If you have $8,735.10 in total managed ad spend for May 2026, this represents the complete cost of all accounts managed through Helium 10 Ads during that month.
Billing Period Selection
Use the Billing Period selector to choose the date range you want to review. You can:
- View spending for any month
- Compare performance across different billing periods
- Analyze seasonal trends in your ad spend
The billing period dropdown makes it simple to switch between months and review historical data.
Spending Trend Chart
The interactive bar chart displays your daily ad spend throughout the selected billing period. This visualization helps you:
- Identify spending patterns: See which days typically have higher or lower ad costs
- Spot unusual activity: Quickly notice spikes or dips in spending that may indicate campaign changes
- Plan budget allocation: Use historical trends to forecast future spending needs
- Monitor campaign performance: Track when spending increases or decreases based on campaign adjustments
Each bar represents one day's total ad spend across all your managed accounts. This granular view helps you understand how your campaigns are consuming your budget throughout the month.
Managing Your Profiles
Below the spending chart, the Profiles section shows all connected advertising accounts with their associated details:

For each connected account, you can choose your preferred management level:
- Manage: Helium 10 Ads actively manages your campaigns to optimize performance
- Analytics-only: Monitor and review data without active campaign management
- Disabled: Stop management for a specific account while keeping data access

Q: Why does my total managed ad spend differ from my Amazon Advertising dashboard? A: Helium 10 Ads shows only the spend for accounts managed through Helium 10. If you have accounts managed directly through Amazon or the accounts were managed for a different period of time, those won't appear in this total.
Q: Can I set a spending limit? A: You can disable or adjust management settings for individual profiles.
Q: How often is the spending data updated? A: Spending data typically updates daily, though there may be a slight delay as it syncs from Amazon's systems.
Q: What if I want to manage some accounts but not others? A: Use the per-profile management settings to select which accounts Helium 10 Ads actively manages. You can switch between managed and analytics-only modes for each profile.
