What to do when you get an error changing your email address via your Helium 10 dashboard:
Getting the error “This email address has already been taken” when you attempt to change or update your current Helium 10 email means that your new email address has an existing Helium 10 Free account and can’t be used. The email with the free account should first be deleted so it can be reused to replace your existing paid account email.
The option to process this from your end is not available at the moment. You can, however, request this from our Helium 10 Customer Support Team. Here are two ways to do it: NOTE: The same process applies if you are looking to change or update your Helium 10 Account Name.
- Email us at support@helium10.com. Use the subject: “Account Email Change Request with Error.” Be sure to include your paid Helium 10 account email and clearly state that you are trying to change/update your email, but you are getting the “This email address has already been taken” error.
- Chat with us directly. Go to the Helium 10 website, and click the chat balloon icon in the lower-right corner of the screen.
You will be connected to our support team to start the email update process.
