Keyword Processor is Helium 10’s advanced keyword refinement tool—formerly known as Frankenstein. It’s designed to help you clean, sort, and optimize large keyword lists, making them more useful for product listings and PPC campaigns.
When used in conjunction with Cerebro, Helium 10’s keyword research tool, Keyword Processor, provides a fast and efficient way to transform thousands of keywords into a focused, actionable list.
Step 1: Gather Your Keywords
To get started, you’ll need a large batch of keywords related to your product. The best way to gather these is through Cerebro:
ASIN-based Research: Input one or more ASINs into Cerebro to generate a list of keywords that Amazon associates with those products.
Keyword Research: You can also perform broad keyword research by entering a generic product keyword.
For detailed steps on how to use Cerebro, review our Cerebro Help Center article.
Once you have your keyword list, copy or export the results into Keyword Processor.
Step 2: Apply Filters to Clean and Refine Keywords
Keyword Processor offers a wide range of filters and functions to quickly clean up your list. Here’s how to get the most out of it:
Remove Duplicates
Check the Remove duplicates box to eliminate repeated keywords.
For example, a list of over 50,000 keywords can be reduced to just a few thousand unique terms.
Toggle Filters Freely
Filters can be turned on or off in any order.
Your list will automatically update when a filter is applied or removed.
You can experiment freely without losing your keyword data.
Remove ASINs
Cerebro results sometimes include ASINs in the list.
Click Remove ASINs to eliminate these from your final keyword set.
Step 3: Analyze Word Frequency
To prioritize high-impact keywords, you can:
Enable Include word frequency count to see how often each keyword or phrase appears.
Sort by frequency using the sort icon in the top-right corner of the results area.
This helps you focus on terms with the most relevance or search volume.
Step 4: Remove Specific Terms
Need to eliminate irrelevant words?
Use the Output Settings filters to remove specific terms from your list.
Alternatively, highlight any term directly in the Results area and delete it manually.
Note: You can save your work at any point during this process.
Step 5: Export Your Final List
Once your keyword list is cleaned and refined, you can:
-
Send to Scribbles: Export directly into Helium 10’s Scribbles tool to begin writing your product title, bullet points, and description.
Keyword Processor supports exporting up to 200,000 characters.
Scribbles has a 2,000 keyword import limit—if your list exceeds this, download it as a CSV file for external use.
