What are Product Goals?
Product Goals are designed to be a fully automated, set-it-and-forget-it approach to launching and managing Sponsored Product campaigns.
How It Works
A Product Goal will automatically create campaigns advertising the specific product included in the Product Goal. These campaigns are unable to be edited as the AI Advertising system is handling all of the changes to the campaign to optimize for better performance.
Navigating AI Advertising
At the top of the AI Advertising page, you will see a quick combined overview of all your AI Advertising Product Goals configured for the selected account. The chart will display a total of the following key metrics for the selected lookback window selected at the top right for all Product Goals that have been configured in your account: Spend, Sales, ACoS, and Orders.
Below the AI Advertising Overview Chart, you will see a table showing all your products that have an AI Advertising Product Goal configured. This table will show the current Status, Start Date, Daily Budget, ACoS Goal, and current Budget Utilization, as well as the same key metrics shown in the Overview Chart (Spend, Sales, ACoS, and Orders) per individual Product Goal configured.
At the top of the table, you will also have the options to:
- Configure a Filter
- Export your Data
- Add a New Product Goal
Configure a Filter
By default, all Product Goals will be listed in the table below the Overview Chart. You can filter the table by the following metrics and/or statuses:
- Products
- Status
- Spend
- Sales
- ACoS
- Orders
To set a filter:
- Click on the "Filters" button
- Configure preferred filters.
- Click Apply.
Note: You can also clear any existing filters you have configured by clicking on the “Clear” button.
Export Your Data
You can export the current view of your table by clicking on the “Export Button” at the top right of the table. This will generate a CSV file of the data shown in the table, which includes the following:
- Product Goal ID
- Product
- Sku
- Status
- Start Date
- Spend
- Sales
- Orders
- ACOS Goal
- ACOS
- Daily Budget
- Budget Utilization (Today)
Add a New Product Goal
To create a new Product Goal:
- Click “+ Product Goal” at the top right of the table. This will take you to the Product Setup Page.
- Select a product or multiple products for AI Advertising to manage under the “Product” option.
- Upon selecting a product for a product goal, your products listing quality score will be automatically calculated. We suggest reviewing your listing quality score to ensure advertising success. Please see the following reasons for having a high listing quality score:
-
Maximizing Campaign Effectiveness
A high-quality listing is essential for conversions. Even with optimal ad targeting, poor listing quality—such as low-resolution images, unclear descriptions, or missing details—can deter potential buyers. Ensuring listings are optimized enhances the likelihood of ad clicks converting into sales. -
Improving Ad Performance
Well-optimized ASINs with complete and relevant information align better with customer search intent. This can improve ad relevance, click-through rates (CTR), and quality scores, leading to lower costs per click (CPC) and higher returns on ad spend (ROAS). -
Preventing Wasted Budget
Poor-quality listings can result in wasted ad spend if traffic is directed to listings that fail to convert. A quality check ensures funds are used efficiently by driving traffic to listings ready to perform. -
Enhancing AI Learning
AI models rely on performance data to make adjustments. If the initial ASINs have poor-quality listings, the AI may draw incorrect conclusions, misallocate budgets, or reduce campaign efficiency. High-quality listings provide a stronger foundation for accurate AI optimization. -
Building Customer Trust
Professional and polished listings build customer confidence, increasing the likelihood of conversion. A quality check ensures listings meet customer expectations, contributing to better brand perception.

Frequently Asked Questions

No, Product Goals cannot currently be created in bulk for multiple individual products. You need to create each Product Goal individually.
No, you cannot edit the campaigns once they are created within Helium 10 Ads. Additionally, you should not edit the campaigns on the Amazon Ads console, as that will negatively impact the performance of AI Advertising.
We recommend pausing previously created campaigns for the same product or pausing the products within existing campaigns if those campaigns are advertising multiple products, which means the other products without a product goal can still serve in that campaign.
