Cerebro: How to Check the Search Volume History of an Amazon Keyword

Comparing search volume histories for keywords is useful for helping you determine which keywords to prioritize in your listings. This data can also be useful for determining if a product is seasonal and the search volume tends to spike at certain times of the year.

What is Search Volume?

Search volume measures how many searches took place for a specific keyword over the last 30 days. This metric is a highly accurate estimate based on Amazon data.

Where to Find the Search Volume History in Cerebro

Anywhere you find a search volume metric within Cerebro, there will be a graph icon next to it. Clicking on the search volume graph icon will pull up a Search Volume History window for that keyword.

Hovering the mouse over the graph will display the search volume for that date.

You can adjust the timeframe of the data by opening the drop-down menu in the top-left. 

The drop-down menu in the top-right will change the source of the data between Amazon, Google, or Walmart.

You can download the search volume data by selecting the hamburger icon on the top-right of the graph.
