Helium 10 Ads Rules & Automation

The Helium 10 Ads Rules & Automation page allows you to review Bid Automations, Keyword Harvest Rules, Negative Targeting Rules, and Budget Rules for your entire Helium 10 Ads account and marketplace that is currently selected. You also have the ability to create new Keyword Harvest, Negative Targeting, and Budget rules on this page.

Helium 10 Ads Rules & Automation Views

On this page, you will see the following views:

• Apply Rules
• Bid
• Keyword Harvest
• Negative Targeting
• Budget
• Creating a Rule

Apply Rules

The Apply Rules view allows you to quickly view your Bid AI Settings for your Helium 10 Ads campaigns. You can quickly update the following Bid AI Settings:

• Target ACoS
• Min/Max Bid
• Bid Automation

To make updates to these settings:

• Select the checkbox next to the campaign
• Click the button for either Bid Automation, Target ACoS, or Min/Max Bid

• Input the value
• Click Apply

Note: You can also update the Min/Max Bid by clicking on the icon when hovering your mouse over the current Min/Max Bid value. Additionally, you can also easily toggle Bid Automation on or off using the toggle.

Bid

The Bid view allows you to quickly view all of your Bid rules for your Helium 10 Ads campaigns as well as the Lookback Period and Frequency of the rule, and whether the rule is automated.

Keyword Harvest

The Keyword Harvesting view allows you to quickly view all your Keyword Harvest (Promotion) rules for your Helium 10 Ads campaigns as well as the Order and Max ACoS Thresholds configured for each rule and whether the rule is automated. You can quickly perform the following actions for Keyword Harvest rules:

• Delete a rule by clicking on the icon 
• Edit or view a rule by hovering over the rule name and clicking “Open”
• Enable Automation by clicking the toggle on or off

Negative Targeting

The Negative Targeting view allows you to quickly view all of your Negative Targeting rules for your Helium 10 Ads campaigns as well as the Click and Spend Thresholds configured for each rule and whether the rule is automated. You can quickly perform the following actions for Negative Targeting rules:

• Delete a rule by clicking on the  icon 
• Edit or view a rule by hovering over the rule name and clicking “Open”
• Enable Automation by clicking the toggle on or off

Budget

The Budget view allows you to quickly view all of your Budget rules for your Helium 10 Ads campaigns as well as whether the rule is automated. You can quickly perform the following actions for Budget rules:

• Delete a rule by clicking on the icon 
• Edit or view a rule by hovering over the rule name and clicking “Open”  
• Enable Automation by clicking the toggle on or off

Helium 10 Ads Rules & Automation Rule Creation

Helium 10 Ads allows you the ability to create rules to perform certain tasks automatically for you. Helium 10 Ads offers the ability to create the following types of rules:

• Keyword Harvest
• Negative Targeting
• Budget

Creating a Rule

On this page, you can create the following types of rules:

• Bid
  • Bid rules allow you to adjust your current bid for specific campaigns based on a number of criteria such as clicks exceeding a specific number, etc.
• Keyword Harvest
  • Keyword Harvest rules allow you to quickly analyze search terms and create targets from search terms that meet certain criteria, such as the number of sales within a specific period, etc.
• Negative Targeting
  • Negative Targeting rules allow you to quickly analyze search terms and create negatives from those that meet certain criteria, such as the number of clicks with no sales within a specific period.
• Budget
  • Budget rules allow you to adjust your current budget for specific campaigns based on a number of criteria such as clicks exceeding a specific number, etc.

To create a new rule for your campaign, select the + Rule button at the top-right of the Rules & Automations Helium 10 Ads page.

Next, enter your rule name and the rule type. The remaining sections will differ based on the Rule Type you select. After you’ve customized your rule to your liking, select Create Rule in the bottom-right.
